The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as an ongoing professional relationship that helps people produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, businesses or organizations. Through the process of coaching, clients deepen their learning, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life.

Whether for sports, business or life in general, a coach is a knowledgeable independent observer who gives feedback, teaches skills, expands awareness and provides any support needed to improve performance. I see my job as challenging, motivating and inspiring you to do, have and be your best, whatever that means for you.

Nobody! People don’t choose coaching because they need it, but because they want more for their lives. People often begin coaching when they are experiencing or anticipating a personal or career transition. Some want to make deep and significant changes in their lives, live more full or balanced lives, or address an issue that always seems to stay on the back burner. Coaching also works well within an organizational context, and has been used with great success in the corporate world for years.

Coaching is geared to meet you where you are. Sessions generally are held by phone two to four times per month for either 30, 45 or 60 minutes each. An added benefit is that, as your coach, I am available to you in between sessions as well, either by phone or email. So, if a situation arises that can’t wait until our next call, or you simply want to share a success, I want to hear from you! In a group or organizational context, coaching can be conducted either in person or by phone.

I offer two different coaching models, Transformation InSight (TIS) Coaching and Essentials Coaching™. The primary difference between these two approaches is in the coaching orientation, the length of the process, the number of calls each month, and the tools and methods used to assist you.

Whichever model you choose, my coaching style involves working with you to:

1) clear through the internal barriers and external obstacles that may be clouding your vision and, in the process, create a strong foundation from which to build.

2) see clearly where it is you want to go and what you want to achieve, in alignment with your deepest values.

3) develop the structures and action steps that will support you in creating what you want.

Unlike traditional therapy, coaching is solutions-based and focused on the present and where you want to go, rather than problem-oriented and focused on the past. Another way of looking at it is that coaching is concerned with the “what” and the “how” rather than the “why”. The past is used to inform and provide context, but the answers we seek are in the present. If you believe there are significant, unhealed past issues you need to address, I encourage you to seek out a qualified counselor or therapist.

Taking more, better and smarter actions because you set the goals you really want

Creating a more balanced life that works well because you designed it purposefully

Exercising the courage to reach for more and not be consumed in the process

Achieving a higher level of self-mastery as you discover how to make all of you work for you.

All in all, coaching is a great value! Fees range between $150 - $400 per month, depending on the number and duration of sessions. For your convenience, I accept credit cards. Please click here for more information about Services and Fees.
