Hello and welcome to my website. I am a life coach and president of Transformation InSight, a coaching and consulting business for busy and creative people seeking greater organization and balance in their lives. I provide a safe space for my clients to go deep and challenge their assumptions, beliefs and behaviors, freeing them to get unstuck from old patterns and make different, more empowering choices. As a result, they are better able to envision or redefine their goals and more important – follow through with them – to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
To best support my clients to create permanent shifts and achieve what they most want out of life, I received formal coaching training from two of the world's most respected training institutions. I am a graduate of Coach U, and a Certified Integrative Coach through the Institute of Integrative Coaching at JFK University, which allows me to lead people through a powerful 16-week personal and spiritual growth and development program. I have over 15 years managerial and executive experience in nonprofit and educational institutions, focusing on public and social services, the arts and community development. Prior to starting my own business, I was the Vice President of Human Resources at Safe Horizon, one of New York City's leading social service organizations.
While working in the nonprofit sector, I became known for helping to "create order out of chaos” in organizations seeking to create sound and workable systems, structures, policies and procedures in support of their overall vision and goals. I bring the same intuitive, problem-solving orientation to my individual and organizational clients, helping them to go deep to bust through the “muck that keeps them stuck” and free themselves to live in line with their highest values and create more space for what they really want.
I graduated from Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music with undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Voice, and received my Master's degree in Nonprofit/Arts Administration from Indiana University. I have been a presenter at various professional conferences and am a member of the International Coaching Federation, the International Association of Integrative Coaches, the American Society of Training and Development, the Society for Human Resources Management, the National Association of Women's Business Owners and Toastmaster's International. Believing that wellness is the cornerstone of a healthy and balanced life, I am also the founder and organizer of the New York City chapter of the Women’s Wellness Society, a group that is dedicated to education, networking and support through monthly meetings featuring speakers on a variety of topics related to health and wellness.
Singing and practicing yoga are two of my favorite pastimes and I enjoy traveling, the theater, writing, dancing, swimming and my own continuing education. |
